Week’s Theme: QR Codes Welcome back listeners to first official EdCeptional Podcast of 2012! We have a great show lined up for you today. This week we will be discussing QR Codes and New Years Resolutions. Patrick can you kick off our show by sharing your “techie” New Years resolution AND the most unique way you have seen QR Codes used?.... Patrick Black: my “techie” resolution is to be a better blogger, I’d like to get back to 2-3 posts per week. As far at QR codes they are just popping up everywhere, I even started posting them around my classroom, they link to various fun video clips and such, but it’s been a fun way to get the kids to interact with them. Deb Truskey: I need to buy a Doxie scanner . I was going to order it before Christmas and didn’t. It’s time to go for it! Unique QR? I guess I am just impressed with the fact that they are everywhere! In all sorts of catalogs, magazines and in stores and medical facilities. They target every age level as well! Your host for tonight....Anne Truger: My resolution is to post a photo a day to my posterous account. I tried last year and failed around the first week of February. My goal is to do better this year! AND The most unique place that I saw QR Codes used was at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. On each of the tanks there were codes that linked to Youtube videos that showed the animals natural behaviors that you may not see when observing in person News Watch - ideas or ways to use QR codes
